What To Expect on The First Visit to A Neurologist for Migraine

Having a headache has become very common. However, getting other symptoms along with the pain can be migraine. The neurologist will get a physical exam and neurological test to know the other reasons for the pain. There are many variants of tests available but you will be recommended the one necessary for you according to the symptoms of your pain. Test like

MRI:  if you have recently hurt your head, you will be recommended to get an MRI done by your neurologist to check if there is any sort of injury. They can even check if there is any kind of tumors or structural issues that causes the pain.

They will want to know about your medical history, the symptoms, and if anyone in your family has had a problem with migraine. They can even get a few extra tests done to make sure the cause of your pain.
